Michelle Bachmann received the Minnesota Republican Party's endorsement for the 6th congressional district on May 6, 2006. Living up to his pledge not to enter the Sept. 12 primary if he didn't win the endorsement, Phil Krinkie withdrew from the race.
Club members contributed over $154,000 to Krinkie's campaign.
