House Passes Oman Trade Deal
This afternoon, the House passed the Oman Free Trade Agreement, 221-205, with 28 Republicans voting NO and 22 Democrats voting YES.
The party spread was typical. Most of the Democrats are protectionists, most of the Republicans are free-traders, with a small number of members switching sides.
The Senate already passed it, 60-34, on June 29, so it's now onto the President who will sign it into law.
It's a small, but very nice, victory.
