Bad 'Compromise' on Death Tax
Once again Republicans negotiate with themselves. They have clear majorities in both houses of Congress to PERMANENTLY REPEAL the Death Tax, and what do they do? Offer a bill to keep it!
Worse, the bill RAISES Death Taxes in 2010. Remember, that is the year the tax disappears, though only for one year right now.
It might be a decent compromise IF they slashed the tax rate NOW, not in 2010.
